Founder of the MAŁECCY biuro projektowe in 1997, which he still runs together with his wife Joanna. Co-author of the building of the Radio and Television Department in Katowice recognized in 2020 as the best ceramic building in the world - Brick Award 20, and also awarded the Grand Prix for the Best Architectural Building SARP, Grand Prix BRYŁA ROKU, Architectural Award of "Polityka", Best Public Space of the Silesian Voivodeship 2018, "short list" European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award 2019. Co-author of the Modernist Enclave in Katowice awarded in 2012, Bazantowo Sports Center awarded in 2013, Polish diplomatic missions (Nigeria, Stockholm, Copenhagen, St Petersburg, Vinnytsia) Center of Polish Culture and European Dialogue in Lviv. The laureate, together with Joanna, of the prestigious award - Medal of Prof. Zygmunt Majerski awarded by the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology.
The last nomination for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award 2022 concerned the contemporary version of the Silesian Familok - Nowy Werdon in Ruda Śląska, which also won the Grand Prix in the Architecture of the Year competition organized by SARP Katowice in 2020.
In December 2021, the implementation of Writv brought the award of the Minister of Development, Labor and Technology for Outstanding Creative Achievements in the Field of Architecture and Construction.
A long-time member of the Board of SARP- Polish Architectural Association in Katowice, ZKSK at the Main Board of SARP. The creator and long-term curator of the series of lectures "Masters of Architecture".
Privately, together with Joanna, they are the parents of 4 children.
