Christelle Avenier, born in France, graduated from the National School of Architecture Paris-Villemin. During her professional work she won several prizes such as: Prize winner of the Bourse Electra, fondation EDF, «Brownfield Site», Winner of Wallpaper Architects directory, «europe 40 under 40 » Europe’s emerging young architects. In 2008 toghether with Miguel Cornejo she founded their common office Avenier Cornejo Architectes. Their projects were nominated at MIPIM Awards in 2014, in 2015 nominated for Mies Van der Rohe Award with Day Care and Young Workers Hostel and for Equerre d'Argent France.
Their office won several architecture prizes: Prize winner of the Architectural Review Emerging Architecture Awards 2017 with the Rue Bonnet social housing, Clichy-La-Garenne, 2017 Prize winner of The Plan Awards category «Housing» with the Rue Saint Maur social housing in Paris. With their project 88 housing Christelle and Miguel won at our Brick Award 22 in the category Living together.
