
Born in Bucharest, Vladimir Arsene founded his own practice in 1991, Westfourth Architecture, which presently has offices in New York, Bucharest and Istanbul. His portfolio covers projects of various scales, from hotels and embassies to the interior design of private residencies. A recent project of note is the Embassy of the State of Kuwait in Bucharest.
Vladimir Arsene’s work has been published and exhibited across continents and in many countries. His architecture is characterized by rationalism, the use of new technologies and constant attention on current cultural issues.
Among other prizes, Westfourth Architecture received the Design Award of the American Institute of Architects and the First Prize at the Biennale of Romanian architecture.
